I have had the pleasure of working with Paul for more than forty years. We have cooperated in lending our assistance on several safety consulting assignments; some were industrial and some were for litigation purposes. Paul has a high knowledge of OSHA regulations/standards, their scope and application, and how to achieve compliance with their requirements. In a greater sense- even where there is no related OSHA obligation- he is well-versed on how to enhance employee protection. His approach often comes from an engineering standpoint, but can also stem from less technical, yet practical approaches.
As owner of Paul L. Errico Associates, Paul’s ability to manage small-scale and large-scale safety projects, on construction sites, as well as for industrial facilities, has proven to be top notch. If his client pays heed to his astute observations and suggestions, the client can confidently expect to lower the risk of workplace injuries and illnesses, and significantly lower the jeopardy of an OSHA citation.
Paul is an excellent trainer, successfully conveying necessary material in a comprehensible and comprehensive manner. As part of that process, he is a superb listener. He can teach and advise on
common occupational safety and health concerns, essentially the recognition and abatement of across-the board hazards. He is also adept at addressing rather targeted (sometimes unusual) subjects and situations. As to his broader communications skills, he has consistently demonstrated a strong capability for connecting with all types of employees.
Paul’s integrity is at the highest level, as is his dependability and dedication to his trade. Through the decades of our professional relationship, I have become increasingly impressed with his clear, profound understanding of numerous occupational safety and health challenges. Of course, his vast array of work experience plays a large part in his accumulated wisdom, but it is also his constant striving to meet the needs of his clients. It has been my professional and personal honor to work with Paul.
