Mr. Sinisi was Security Manager for ABM Industries to the largest client account in Connecticut with major corporations calling the location home. Performed daily security operations in conjunction with other corporate leaders. Directed daily safety and security operations including fire safety and periodic assessments. Developed daily schedules and coordinated all logistical support for the security program. Collaborated with corporate tenant security departments on all security related issues. Ensured compliance with company and client standards, policies, and procedures. Prepared all required documentation for company and client. Advised senior management of any and all issues. Collaborated with security vendors to upgrade and/or repair equipment. Conducted all training for security staff, employees, management, vendors and corporate leaders including fire safety and evacuation drills. Consulted and worked closely with facilities management to recommend and improve security systems and processes. Introduced one formal command and dispatch center for the entire complex. Close working relationship with law enforcement and fire service.
He was Coordinator of Safety and Security at Greenwich Hospital. Identified opportunities for improvement and recommended strategic solutions. Coordinated departmental logistics, and arranged mandated fire drills throughout the facility. Performed comprehensive security planning for on and off-site hospital-sponsored special events, galas, picnics and fairs including the protection of VIPs .Collaborated with security vendors to optimize purchase and servicing of security equipment such as access control systems, panic alarms, and closed-circuit television systems. Ensured compliance with company policies and procedures in alignment with security command center manual, and prepared all required documentation. During his tenure at Greenwich Hospital, Mr. Sinisi was appointed Field Training Officer, New Hospital Employee Orientation Instructor, Hospital-wide trainer and other critical roles to support the hospital’s overall goals. During this time he was appointed by VP of Facilities Management as liaison to public safety services and other hospitals.
He created and delivered cross-functional presentations for various departments to educate staff on safety, security, workplace violence, fire safety and emergency situations. Conducted investigations, and collaborated with law enforcement on an as-needed basis. Administered training for all security personnel. Managed hazardous materials program, including team supervision and training, established formal protocols for chemical spill incidents and procurement of decontamination equipment and gear. Determined security access levels, and led hospital identification activities for all staff, including physicians, vendors, and law enforcement. Advised senior management team of weekly status, and participated in hospital operations, finance and security meetings; and played key role in transforming the emergency management function to a formal Emergency Preparedness protocol, collaborating with executive management in site selection to preserve business continuity in the event of an emergency.
In addition, he coordinated the establishment of the Emergency Operations Center with Yale-New Haven Health System and was appointed Safety Officer by the CEO. His responsibility was preparing all documentation related to Emergency Preparedness and to train all hospital staff. He worked closely with corporate leaders of YNHHS to ensure both EOCs were in readiness stage at all times. He was appointed by the VP/COO to serve on the Environment of Care (EOC) Committee, and selected for subcommittees including Employee Safety and Safest Hospital Committee.
Mr. Sinisi played a key role in successfully achieving all inspections by local and state authorities, and surpassed stringent requirements for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) survey.
Mr. Sinisi was instrumental in coordinating the installation and training of appropriate staff in the Hugs Infant Protection System, an electronic alarm and locking system designed to keep infants in designated areas to prevent abductions.
Mr. Sinisi works closely with Private Officer International and Security professionals to enhance training standards in the private security and public safety fields through legislative means.
