I have worked on many diversified cases throughout many regions of the country, whether large or small. Our clients come from both the private and public sectors, including municipal governments. One of my affiliations is the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, which led to a position as a forensics instructor at the Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Sciences at the University of New Haven. I taught two courses, one in the Criminal Investigations Basic Program entitled “Explosives – Forensics & Evidence”. The second a three-day course “Response to Terrorist Incidents”.
I have been retained by various law firms and insurance companies throughout the country as an expert witness to conduct diverse accident investigations, give depositions, testify in court and work directly with my clients’ insurance companies (i.e., Zurich, AIG, Risk Strategies, Travelers). Cases have involved, but were not limited to, workers’ compensation, personal injury, fatalities, fires and toxic exposures), personal injury and environmental investigations.
Environmental investigations include environmental site assessments, illegal dumping, contamination, hazardous waste handling and remediation. One such case involved Paul working with a Chief State’s Attorney’s Office, Environmental Crimes Division, investigating the use of illegal landfill on a large parcel of land. My firm was instrumental in successfully gathering evidence and connecting it to a specific site that contained material not suitable for fill material.
